Library Rules
  • Readers should observe strict silence and switch off their Mobile phones etc. in the library Premises. Indiscipline may lead to disciplinary action and the library privileges may be withdrawn
  • No personal belongings allowed inside the library, In case of any misplacement, library will not be responsible.
  • Library Membership cards are not transferable
  • Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken anywhere in the library premises
  • Enter your name and Sign in the register kept at the entrance counter before entering any section of the library.
Admission to Library
  • Only registered members are allowed to use the Library
  • Registered members are issued a bar-coded Library Membership Identity card
  • Every student must possess his / her Library Card while making use of the Library facility and produce the same to the Library Staff on entering the Library
  • Student membership of the Library is renewed at the beginning of each year
Circulation System
  • Two books will be issued against Library Card for 15 days only
  • When Books are issued, students should check the pages of the issued books and if pages are Found missing, they should report the same to the Librarian before leaving the Counter. On Returning the books, if pages are found missing, then the last borrower of the book shall be Held accountable for the missing pages and shall accordingly be fined
  • Members are responsible for books issued against their lost Library Card
  • Readers should not write in, mark or otherwise disfigure / damage books, furniture etc
  • In case a student loses his/ her Library Card then the student should report the loss of card Immediately to the library and apply for a duplicate card on the prescribed form available at the Library Counter by paying Rs. 20/- per card.
Overdue Charge
  • Issued book returned after due date attract overdue charges as Rs. 5/- per day will be charged
Book Lost
  • In case a Reader loses a book he/she should submit the same title to library. If same book is not available in market, he has to pay 1.5 times of the current price in case of regular book and In case of rare book he has to pay 2 times of books current price.
No Due Certificate
  • The college Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate will be issued to student only after he/she has returned all the Library books and cleared all library dues
Book Bank (Social Welfare)
  • Schedule Castes (SC) students can become a member of the book bank by giving application along with caste certificate
  • Members of the book bank will be issued 5 books for each semester
  • Book shall be returned within two days after the theory examination, otherwise a late fee of Rs.5/- per day per book will be charged
Book Bank (Topper)
  • 5 toppers of each department are eligible. List forwarded by department Head will be considered for the same.
  • Members of the book bank will be issued 5 books for each semester.
  • Book shall be returned within two days after the theory examination, otherwise a late fee of Rs.5/- per day per book will be charged
Book Bank (For All)
  • All student can become a member of this book bank facility by producing fee paid receipt
  • Members of the book bank will be issued 5 books for individual student for each semester
  • Student has to pay 500 Rs as refundable deposit which will be refundable at the time of NOC and 20 % amount of total cost of selected 5 books as fee per semester
  • Book shall be returned within two days after the theory examination, otherwise a late fee of Rs.5/- per day per book will be charged
Book Bank (Differently Able)
  • Differently able students can become a member of this book bank facility by giving application along with medical certificate
  • Members of the book bank will be issued 5 books for each semester
  • Book shall be returned within two days after the theory examination, otherwise a late fee of Rs.5/- per day per book will be charged
Reference Section
  • Reference books and Periodicals will not be issued out.
